This new and exciting qualification is a direct result of research undertaken by the Civic Trust, which identified a National need for motivation and training for policy makers and practitioners in developing and managing the nighttime economy. The research has also culminated in the Purple Flag Accreditation Scheme, now run by the Association of Town Centre Managers, and this trail-blazing qualification will greatly benefit applicants for the scheme.
The qualification is relevant to anyone working in these areas: -Regulation and enforcement: police, licensing officers, environmental health officers, crime and disorder partnership managers. -Design and development: shopping centre managers, developers, design professionals. -Economic growth and diversity: economic development officers, tourism development officers -Place management: town centre managers, night-time economy managers, BID team managers -Policy-making: councilors and other officials |
