EDI LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PREPARING TO TEACH IN THE LIFELONG LEARNING SECTOR (QCA Accreditation Number –: 500/1522/9) RationaleThis qualification satisfies the government requirement for teachers, tutors and trainers to hold an award for preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector.It can be undertaken by those who need an initial award for their role as a teacher or trainer in the lifelong learning sector or by those who want to teach in an FE College, tutor in an Adult and Community Learning Centre or be a trainer for a Learning Provider. Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of the teacher’s role and approaches to teachingand learning, plan learning sessions and manage learning.
