First Aid at Work
Full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience, for example, clerical or engineering staff. The First Aid at Work course is run over four days and includes both theory and practical sessions.
Paediactric First Aid
This course is suitable for Nannies wishing to join the Voluntary part of the Ofsted Childcare Register (OCR). It is also suitable for Au Pairs, Babysitters, Parents and anybody who cares for children and needs a basic course.
Paediactric First Aid 12 Hours
This course is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets the needs of Ofsted. It is suitable for Childminders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in-depth course.
Emergency First Aid at Work
ourse Overview Employers have to risk assess their workplace first aid requirements, and the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is one of the statutory qualifications for this purpose. EFAW training is delivered by organisations approved by the HSE for the purpose of delivering First Aid at Work qualifications.This qualification has been available to employers to meet their statutory obligations since October 1, 2009.
